Very thorough inspection and information provided with results from the inspection. Some slight confusion between the color coded discrepancies found throughout the report. However, the detail given and obvious care for the customer is present. We were unable to be present during the inspection but with the detailed report and information given, it was almost the same as being there. Highly recommend.

I signed up for a property inspection from Profound Home Inspections at the recommendation of my real estate agent. I did not know what to expect from this effort. I was not present when Jake first came onto the property, but he was very professional and well prepared for the task. In a few hours he completed an extensive inspection and report. I'm a chronic researcher and over-thinker, so when I started looking for an inspector for the purchase of our new home, I knew by looking at the sample reports on their website that Jake was my guy. He's incredibly thorough. We were there for almost five hours. He kept apologizing, but that attention to detail was exactly what I wanted. We found a few pretty major things that I feel someone else might have missed, and lots and lots of little things so I know what my weekend projects are going to look like for the foreseeable future (my husband is just THRILLED about this). So, if you also have a deep need for ALL the details and really helpful information about your home, call this guy! He's fantastic and also really nice, which is a definite plus if you're going to spend the entire afternoon with a stranger.

I was in the process of buying my first house and had done a lot of research on what to look for in the house I'm buying. When it came to inspectors I was able to narrow it down to Jake with profound home inspections. The fact that he only scheduled one or two inspections per day and takes hours to do a single house inspection says a lot compared to the other inspectors in the area that will book up to 6 per day. Before I did anything I gave Jake a call and we had a really good 20 to 30 minute conversation on the process what my expectations were what he was going to do and it was a great experience as a first-time home buyer. After the inspection he sat down with me and discussed everything in his report we went and looked at a few of the items he noticed and it was extremely thorough and for me to be impressed takes a lot. He truly made the process easy and removed a lot of anxiety. His report has set me up with a path forward with my new home.

Jake took extreme care at our inspection to make sure he'd noted all significant notes of the house (both + and -), and then used a color coding sytem to help us filter the data to get to what we needed to focus on. Extremely courteous, hard-working, and very efficient! Would absolutely use Jake again!

Jake lined up the pest control, sewer line, and radon inspections for me and my buyers. He also added an air quality inspection for mold, which was an inspection I had not had offered with any other company before. The buyers were pleased with the inspection stating all the items he inspected, even if it was not a typical required item. For instance, I have never had an inspector tell us if the refrigerator was at optimal temperature with a laser thermometer. Will use and recommend again.

This is my second time buying a home and Jake made the inspection process so much better than our first (not inspected by Jake). I remember moving into the first house and finding all kinds of things that should have been added to the inspection report. You don’t get that with Jake, he provides the most detailed report of every little thing he finds. In my eyes, that is very important and shows that he actually cares about your potential home. The report is easy to read and chuck full of information. If we ever buy another house in Wichita, we will call Jake!
